Mi-8 chopper crashes outside Moscow, crew missing
A helicopter belonging to the Russian Emergency Ministry with three crewmembers has crashed outside Moscow. The chopper went down while performing a “training flight to practice monitoring techniques in severe weather conditions,” the ministry said in a statement. After the crash, the helicopter went up in flames, with all three crewmembers still unaccounted for. The cause of the crash is still not clear. A total of 48 rescue workers and 15 vehicles have been dispatched to the crash scene.
