WW3 Alert: NATO Gives Russia an Ultimatum !!

Tension between the US and Russia seem to be resurgent, as the conflicts over Syria and Crimea appear irresolvable.

And in the light of these irreconcilable conflicts, NATO, on Wednesday, issued a stark warning to the Eurasian superpower stating that the US-led alliance is all ghillied up to respond to any kind of beating of war drums, reported Daily Star.

A proposal to send forces to the Baltic states and eastern Poland, 2017 onwards, was made by NATO earlier in July this year. A total of four battle groups comprising of 4,000 troops from France, Denmark, Italy and other allies have been the alliance’s final endeavor.

“From early 2017, NATO will have four multinational battalions in the eastern part of the Alliance,” said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

As reported by Reuters, the alliance is all revved up to go to Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia, with forces ranging from armored infantry to drones. While the world thresholds on a ‘global war’ between the US and Moscow, leaders of the coalition promised they “can and will” face any threats directed at the group.

“This is credible deterrence. Not to provoke a conflict, but to prevent conflict,” said Stoltenberg. “Concrete proof that NATO can and will deploy thousands of forces to support our Allies.”

As said by the NATO chief, Russia has not only been investing in the soviet’s armed forces, but also it has used the armed forces to attack neighbors such as Crimea and Ukraine. And that’s precisely why NATO has “implemented the strongest or the biggest reinforcement of collected offence since the end of the Cold War.”

“NATO is able to adapt to a more assertive Russia and the increased military presence of Russia close to our borders,” the NATO chief further added.
