After the death of 61 year old Russian journalist Nikolai Glushkov last night , police are treating his death in Clarence Avenue New Malden as unexplained. The counter terrorist unit are leading investigations.
Officers want to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious at or near his home in Clarence Avenue in New Malden between Sunday 11 March and Monday 12 March
UK police have launched a murder investigation after the death of Russian businessman Nikolai Glushkov in south-west London. Mr Glushkov was found dead at his home in New Malden on 12 March. A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Glushkov, who was 68, died from “compression to the neck”.
A fierce critic of Vladimir Putin, so they say, who was found dead at his south London home earlier thisweek, was murdered, police have said, amid fears of a second Russia-sponsored attack on British soil.
Reports believe Mr Glushkov was found dead at his home in New Malden, south-west London, on Monday evening.
Police were called by the London ambulance service to a residential address in New Malden at 10.46pm
