The Islamic State (ISIS) is nearing its end in the southern part of Damascus, as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their Palestinian allies steadily advance through the terrorist group’s fractured lines.
Backed by airstrikes from their air force, the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard managed to score another big advance tonight, liberating the Al-Roos Roundabout in Hajar Al-Aswad.
The liberation of the Al-Roos Roundabout would later pave the way for the Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies (primarily Liwaa Al-Quds) to push further north towards the Yarmouk Camp’s southern axis.
Meanwhile, in southwest Yarmouk Camp, the Syrian Army and Liwaa Al-Quds continued to liberate buildings around the Assad bin Furat School, pushing the Islamic State forces north of this area.
The Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies are now working to fully take over 30th Street, which has been mostly under the control of the Islamic State since 2015.
