A duck boat carrying at least 31 people capsized on Table Rock Lake in the popular tourist city in the Ozark mountains of southwest Missouri. Stone County Sheriff Doug Rader said seven people have been transported to the hospital, while dive teams continue searching for people who are still missing. Some of the passengers were children, NBC4 reported.
“This is going to be all night into tomorrow,” Rader said of the search efforts, adding that he believed the amphibious vehicle capsized and sank due to inclement weather. The incident happened about 7 p.m. after thunderstorms were reported in the area, according to KY3
