Dow Jones Industrial Average trades lower after five straight days of gains following a spike in U.S. Treasury bond yields, and the Nasdaq sinks as tech shares tumble.

Stocks fell  −262.54 (so far at 18.00 GMT)  on Thursday, Oct. 4, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average traded sharply lower after five straight days of gains following the biggest spike in U.S. Treasury bond yields in nearly two years.

The Nasdaq was down nearly 2%
