In December 2009, the Resigned EP was released on the occasion of the Neuwerk Festival, which included cover versions and a remix in addition to the title track. It was a strictly limited edition, which was only available at the live shows of Solar Fake and accordingly quickly sold out.
In 2011, the second album “Frontiers”, which brought Solar Fake in the clubs and on the dance floors appeared. The album held the maximum possible eight weeks in the DAC (German Alternative Charts).
It was followed by festivals (including Amphi Festival, E-Tropolis), sold-out solo concerts and other tours as a supporting act among others by VNV Nation in the UK, Project Pitchfork , Covenant and Peter Heppner .
Sven Friedrich is completely responsible for music production as well as for all compositions, texts, arrangements and recordings.
The artwork for the album Frontiers was created in close collaboration with the Berlin artist Christian Ruhm
