The summer transfer window is in full swing and Manchester United have already made their first move of their summer rebuild.

Daniel James has joined from Swansea city in an £18million move – but there could be more to come.

Matthijs de Ligt remains linked to a move, while United are also pursuing a deal for Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

De Ligt has become the saga of the summer and is being monitored by every elite club on the planet.

Elsewhere, Arsenal are in the market for new recruits and have been linked with Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba.

Spurs make Ndombele bid?

The Sun reports Tottenham have launched a club-record bid for Tanguy Ndombele.

The Lyon midfielder is a target for a host of clubs after some excellent displays in France.

It is claimed a £60m offer has been made by Spurs.

Weah on the move

Former Celtic loanee Timothy Weah could join Lille this summer.

PSG want around £9m for the striker, son of legendary star George.

Weah is open to leaving PSG for regular first-team football.

Solskjaer rejects Bale transfer

Gareth Bale has been dealt a further snub after Manchester United reportedly ruled out a summer move.

Bale is free to leave Real Madrid this summer following Zinedine Zidane’s return to the Bernabeu.

A host of clubs across Europe have been sounded out about signing Bale, including United who have missed out on him twice in the past.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opted against discussing a potential deal with Real Madrid, reports ESPN FC.

Solskjaer, who sealed the signing of Bales’ international teammate Daniel James on Wednesday, is open to adding another attacker to his ranks.

But Bale no longer fits United’s transfer strategy with the club keen to add young talent rather than signing expensive older players.

Liverpool set Lovren asking price

Liverpool will demand more than £25m for Dejan Lovren.

The Croatian is a target for AC Milan after falling to fourth choice at Anfield.

Joel Matip partnered Virgil van Dijk at the end of the season while Joe Gomez is now fit again.

That has alerted Milan but Liverpool won’t let him go on the cheap.
