Meghan Markle didn’t dial in for crisis talks between Prince Harry, the Queen, Charles and William to discuss the Sussexes future roles in the Royal Family.
Meghan is currently in Canada with Archie but it was believed that she would join the conversation over the phone to have her say on the discussions.
However a senior palace source has now confirmed that didn’t happen, and the Duchess wasn’t involved.
They said: “In the end, The Sussexes decided that it wasn’t necessary for The Duchess to join.”
The Queen summoned Harry to Sandringham to discuss the Sussexes’ future roles within the Royal Family with Princes Charles and William yesterday.
They spent two hours thrashing out the framework of a deal to stop Duke and Duchess of Sussex from permanently turning their backs on the family.
