I was out today a beautiful warm spring day
in West London.Went to a Portuguese cafe for lunch…on the telescreen came a Portuguese report on Ukraine.
Oh man don’t spill your soup, these towns in East Ukraine are really fcked.Fcked by Russian artillery alone no air strikes.I ain’t been well at latter end of this miserable winter,so the whole experience left me tearful and incredibly sad, but to see like drone (silent) footage of Mariupol is really scary.Dont mess with Russia or you’ll live on a moonscape.Honestly in my 60+ years on the planet I never seen anything quite like it (maybe Syria or some napalm strikes in Vietnam,ww2 photos of destruction of Warsaw come close). It sure ain’t nothing to be proud about…
Death and destruction!
The landscape footage is real eerie and real real scary. All this done without airstrikes..
Beware the bear….don’t bait it…for you will regret.Dont kick Russia in the shins lest the Russians come out fighting….
they will protect their own..
Don’t prod the crocodile with a stick…..is it fair to say the Russians are unlikely to attack without cause and often oblige you with notice.
Then for Pete’s sake heed the warning

Conditions in Mariupol are “unbearable” and “just hell,” residents who fled the besieged city in southeastern Ukraine have told CNN, as shocking drone footage and satellite photos emerged showing the utter devastation wrought by the Russian bombardment.
The besieged southern port city of Mariupol came under heavy fire from Russian forces shortly after Moscow launched its invasion of Ukraine.
Nearly 5,000 people have been killed and buildings across the city destroyed, according to the mayor.
Mariupol’s capture could enable Russia to create a land bridge between two separatist, self-proclaimed people’s republics in Donbas and the Crimea region which Russia seized and annexed in 2014.
Putin has previously said Moscow had ‘no choice’ but to invade Ukraine and claimed Moscow is trying to protect civilians in the predominately Russian-speaking Donbas region
